ELMED Elektronik ve Medikal Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. was established in Ankara to develop ESWL systems for kidney stone treatment.

ELMED produced its first ESWL device.

The first clinical studies were completed with ELMED's first ESWL device.

The first ELMED ESWL device was exported to Syria.

ELMED introduced its ESWL technology to urology specialists from around the world at the AUA (American Urological Association) Congress.

ELMED has been certified according to EN ISO 9001 Quality Management Standard.

The products were first certified with CE mark.

Vibrolith and Vibrolith Plus approved by FDA 510(k).

ELMED exported its in-body pneumatic lithotripter to the United States.

ELMED produced the first prototype of the Avicenna Roboflex and is certified with the CE mark.

ELMED presented Avicenna Roboflex at the EAU congress in Stockholm. The robot was used in a live operation, which was watched by about three thousand people.
